Psychotherapy & Psychoanalysis Services
I work psychoanalytically with both men and women on a variety of mental health issues.
Whether it’s a personal struggle with depression and anxiety, or issues related to difficulties in relationships, family, school or job, living with emotional stress or pain can be debilitating.
My goal is to work with you to gain a deeper understanding of yourself and to help you to move past the old thoughts and understandings that have been stopping you from growing and developing.
It is through talking and exploring new possibilities that emotional growth and positive changes can begin to emerge. Together we can work to find the tools that will be most helpful to you.
Talking Really Helps
I prefer to see my clients once weekly for fifty minutes.
My work is client centered which means that your time with me is focused on my getting to know you and your specific needs so that I can help you to resolve the issues that have brought you in for therapy.
My training enables me to look at each case with a deep emotional understanding of the underlying factors that may have contributed to your particular issue.
It is through your talking and my guidance that you can begin to move out of the painful feelings that cause you to feel stuck.

- *Women’s Issues
I specialize in working with women on developing their true value and worth.
Many women struggle with self-image issues. They work hard to fit into an unrealistic body image that can cause emotional pain and frustration. Social media and the media in general have set near impossible standards of physical beauty for women in our culture. Starting at a young age, young girls are learning what is considered beautiful.
My work with women is to help them learn where their true beauty lies and to help them value their authentic selves.
